I am restoring a 350 and was wondering what color the dash board is suppose to be. Mine is all rust right now. I am guessing either black or grey but I'm not sure. Any help appreciated.
Thanks, Adam

It should be flat black.

I've done 3 of the X50 series, 2 I 350's and a Farmall 450 and the dash panel is a medium dark gray. Rollie

Should the dash on a 350U Wheatland be black/grey as well? As I have mentioned in the past, at some point a previoys owner of my machince repainted it. Unfortunately, by it, I mean everything - serial number plates, most badging, hoses, etc. I am trying to get it back to a more stock condition.

Thanks,
Sean

My dad's 350 had what turns out to be a SEMI-FLAT
Black dash. When it really fades it will "chaulk" to some kind of gray. That Semi-Flat black is perfect to repaint windshield arms on your car too. This color is very forgiveing for a very long time.

The only time I ever saw a 350 Wheatland, or Standard whatever is right, I wasn't paying any attention to the dash. What might help you is to look at the underside of the panel. I'm pretty sure the original color went on both sides of that part before assembly. Rollie
