I have an H with about 1/4 inch up and down play in the upper bolster steering shaft. According to the parts book everything is in place but I get this vertical play that I don't think should be there. Anybody have any ideas about what I should do about this?

Thanks, Bob

the end play won't hurt anything but if you want to eliminate it put a washer that is a little less than a quarter inch thick under the steering sector gear.
