My old M has been setting for quite some time. Won't start. Worked on it a couple of weeks ago and it turned over fast, 12v convertion..I would squirt WD 40 or gas in the carb and often it would fire a couple of times as it it were going to start. But, all the time it was turning over, gas was pouring out of the bottom of the carb in a steady steam. So, figured the float must be stuck. Bought a new carb kit and got the float working freely. But, the kit didn't include a needle valve of valve seat. So, now it turns over fast, but can't seem to get it fire at all. What can I do?

the first thing i would check is if you even have gas in the carb. just take the plug out of the bottom and make sure you have a good full flow. next you will likely have to take the carby back apart. make sure all the holes are open. I like to use carb cleaner in an arosol can. squirt into each hole you find and watch to see where it comes out. THERE ARE NO DEAD END HOLES
