Help finding distributor cap for '47 A

YT'ers,

I need help finding a distributor cap for my '47 A. It has the Delco-Remy magneto replacement distributor. A Chevy 4-cylinder cap is supposed to fit it, but NAPA can't even get one. Any ideas?

Bill, Tell you NAPA parts person to look for an Echlin RR145 part number. Echlin packaged part for NAPA. Should fit like a glove.//FB

Would an "A" and "B" have the same cap. Have a "B" and need a cap! jps

There are a few minor differences in the Delco dist. bases but that cap should fit. Best to take your Delco dist. number with you when ordering the cap./FB
