Dumb question. Seeing as the steerin gear(sector or ring) only has teeth on 1/2 of it what keeps the front wheels from going all the way around when you keep turning the wheel?

Bobby - Look up under the tractor front end casting. There's 4 bolts that attach the lower bolster to the upper bolster pivot shaft. The bolt in the right front corner has a special extended head that fits up inside a crescent-shaped slot cast in the underside of the front end casting - it sets the left and right turn stops for the steering.

Punch below for a photo of the assembly from when I had mine apart...

Where the lower bolster bolts to the upper bolster there is a bolt with a special head that limits travel. It is one of the four bolts and is the one at the right front.
