what happens when i cut the AC lines when taking t

just like before, i am taking the cab off, and it has two hoses comeing out of each front corner, and one on each is for heater, and other is for the air conditioner. Now for the heater, i can just put a steel plug in the engine block, and it does not effect serculation? and the AC, i may be able to take the tin off, and unbolt the compressor, and take the lines and unit off without cutting the hoses. but if i do, is there anything harmfull about the freon? And now, about taking the cab off, can i just take the four main bolts off, the smaller ones holding the cab to the deck, hoses, wiring, and all, and lift the cab off without any trouble, or do the front and back filler peices have to come off later, or is it just easier that way? (it is the short style white cab)

Do whatever you want with the heater hoses, you can plug them however you wish and you will not be effecting cirulation. As for the A/C, does it still work? If it does, there's going to be high pressure freon in those lines. Could be pressure even if it dosen't work, so avoid cutting the lines at all costs. If the lines need to be disconnected, have a qualified mechanic with the proper equipment do it. When removing a cab, it is easiest to take as much of it as possible apart while it is still on the tractor. Takes more time, but will be easier to handle.
