Hello,
I have found an IH 2500 for sale. Can anybody tell me the pros and cons of this tractor. How many horses does it have? Does anyone have a picture of this tractor? Also, when where they built from?
Thanks,
Barnz

The 2500 was the industrial version of the 574 tractor. The 2500B was the industrial version of the 584 tractor. Actually, all four tractor had the same bacic engine, transmission, and final drives, the front axles, tin, hydraulics, frame, rear tires and hitch were a few of the differences depending on the use for ag. or industry. They were both made at the Louisville, Ky. plant on the same production line at the same time. If I'm not mistaken, I believe the engine was around 60-62 HP. Others on the board will know for sure. I hope this helps.

Ah, thanks alot. But could you put a loader on a 2500? The ad says that it has a 77 inch bucket on it. And, where could I see a picture of one?
Thanks,
Barnz

Yes on the 2500 or 2500B a laoder can be attached. In fact I think most of them came that way on the Industrial models. As for a picture, I'm not too sure where you may get one.
