Leaking handle on reservoir and hydraulic question

1. When I fill the hydraulic reservoir to the very top on my Super M it leaks out around the handle on the right hand side. How hard is this to fix? Do I need to remove the reservoir from the tractor? Operator and Service manuals mention nothing about it. If its a real bear I am thinking of just removing the whole tank and putting in a bigger one.

2. Is the return line to the hydraulic pump fed by gravity at all or is it all suction? Looking at adding a small auxillary reservoir and it would be lower than the pump. Was wondering if that would cause me issues? Lines would run as follows:
- pressure out from pump to 2 spools with power beyond.
- pressure out from 2 spools to 2 more spools
- return from second 2 spools to inlet on factory tank
- outlet on factory tank to inlet on aux tank
- outlet on aux tank to return on pump

That make sense?
