Maybe someone can give me an idea what might be wrong. Tractor won't start, when turn key does not register any amps on amp gauge. Lights won't burn etc. Battery is good. Battery cables are alright too. Think it might be in swithch or cylinoid? Put new switch on about year and half ago. Has done this before usually fiddle around with cables take off and clean and it starts. Not this time so Im gonna have to find source of problem. Any opinions, Appreciate thoughts.

Hugh may be correct. Check your amp gage. If I recall my electric stuff correctly, an Amp gage is nothing but a volt gage with a resistor (low resistance) accross it to carry most of the current. The gage measures current by measuring the voltage across the resistor. The more current, the more voltage drop. If the resistor burns out, no current can get through. Of course, all this is inside the gage. You could check it by disconnecting all wires from the ammeter and measuring the resistance accross the two poles with an ohm meter. If the gage is good, you should get a low resistance. If the resistance is high, the gage is bad.

Avery: As Randy has said, probably in battery cables. Just to add to what he said. On my SA, 130 and 140, I cut a U in top of battery box, adjacant to ground post, and ran that cable to one of the bolts that hold transmission top cover on. I find I get much better and less troublesome ground going right to the casting. I lined that U shaped hole with rubber to keep it from cutting cable covering.

Another item you might look at is your amp guage. I have seen them foul up and do this. My Farmall 300 stopped dead in field one day no starter, no lights or ignition, problem was amp guage.

Have also seen the guage prevent charging. On my 140 I replaced battery, generator and regulator with alternator, changed to 12 volt coil. Tractor would run fine but wouldn't charge New amp guage cured the problem.

If the lights are not coming on along with the starter not working I would look at battery cables. I had what looked like a good cable on my C. When I replaced it and started looking closer at it about half of the stranded wires were corroded through. You also need to make sure that the ground cable is grounded to the frame. Wire brush where it connects to the frame. This is just as important as the battery posts.
