This is my first project! trying to restore a f-20 that my grandfather had. I'm looking for the specs. for the valve stem thickness and spring tension. Does anyone have that info, or where could i get it? I got an owners manual but that doesn't tell me. I think it's a 1937, but not positive.

Thanks for you help!

You ask strange questions. Never thought of that and my book don't show that info. The stems are the same size as the holes, and if the springs ain't broke they will work fine. Remember that is not a high compression engine and the top speed is only 1200 rpm.
