We had 2 806's when I was a kid and both had RD pumps on them. I recently purchased another one and it has had the RD Pump changed over to the roosa master but took it to the dealer and it pulled more on the dyno than either of the 806's we had 30 years ago. I was always told the 806's with the RD Pump was a stronger tractor and wanted to find one as I plan to restore it but now I feel I will leave the roosa master on it.
Has anyone changed back to the RD Pump since there are rebuilt ones available now?

No i have never change back it was always the other way as parts are real hard to find for the RD seires , My 806 was changed at one point and i would like to find all the parts to change back to the RD as it will make more fuel the the rossa master can even with a 46 head on it. I should have bought my uncles old 806 as it was the first one in the county and the man that i worked for bought the first one sold but not seiral no. 501 but i did buy the 65 806 that he had He bought the first one at the Canfield fair in 63 and it was the first real public showen of the tractor after my uncle saw and drove old G.F. 's 806 he went out and bought the next one in and since old G.F. was horsepower nuts he was the first to put a charger on like five days after he got it and we did the same to my uncles, man would the ever pull 5 bottoms.
