I want to use my H to saw dimensional lumber(2x4s, 4x4s, 1x6 etc.) I have the pulley wheel, I am looking for a belt and a saw and one of you smart guys or gals to tell me an easy way to do it

Bill, I'd say if you want to set up a saw and do it your self just to say you'd done it, keep looking for a sawmill. If you just need some lumber cut, look for someone with a modern portable bandsaw mill. I had some logs sawed up for seventeen cents per board foot.

I use an "H" for sawing fire wood. You need a saw that can control thickness and cut boards of equal thickness. In short you need a belt driven sawmill. These are rare and hard to find . There is a carriage and saw... quite a large outfit. Your "H" would be marginal for power, if you were doing any high volume sawing.
