Help- my main hydraulic lines are leaking at the reservoir on my 300 Farmall- I've changed the O-rings in the port block, but it still leaks! The steel lines are solid, and I've throughly cleaned the grooves where the o-rings seat. I'm ready to braze up the hole joint with my torch! What else can I do? Scrap the steel lines and tap the ports for hydraulic fittings?

My 300 leaks also but not sure exactly where. The entire area appears damp and drippy, has anybody disassembled the entire unit and successfully resealed it? I'd love to put the whole unit in a plastic bag. Dick Davis

I rebuilt this tractor from the ground up- an this leak is driving me nuts. It's not a stream, but a consistent drip from that joint. I have to have a rag on the floor around the shifter to catch all that oil- otherwise I might slip on the deck when I get on or off the tractor.
