Would like to get opinions on what is better a belly mower or a drag behind mower. I'd like to get a rough cut mower that really does a job on the rough stuff and will do a good job mulching as well. One that will go with an offset PTO,and if anyone could explain a "fast-hitch" that would be great. Any brand names, models and source of supply near VT are greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I've had a Woods L-59 on mine for 25 years, & like it belly mounted. I don't have to turn around backwards to see it mow, and it doesn't swing around behind me when I turn & bump into things. It doesn't add to the total length of the tractor, and I don't have to run over my grass with all four tires before it gets mowed. The Super A sets up tall, and you can look straight down to see your work.
