If you replace the coil A cheap way to go if your H is a 12volt system is go to the wreckers and find a coil out of a nissan pulsar it is identical this I found out from neccesity as my 350 had a coil and I had a nissan pulsar in the yard for parts so gambled and compared the two and they were identical good luck

Had this problem a couple months ago. It could be the coil, but make sure your rotor and dist cap are making connection as it goes around. You can do this by sticking the ends of your ammeter in the center hole and one of the outer holes of the dist cap. Turn it over and if the meter jumps, you have conduct between the terminals, if it doesnt jump, replace the dist cap and rotor and make sure the felt washer was replaced because that can cause no conduct to. Make sure that the gap for your points was set at high point of the lobe on the shaft when points are apart at the widest. Your ammeter should be set on ohms 1x and the needle should jump. This might help, also you might want to change out the plug wires if you havent

Could be the coil (worth replacing anyway) , could also be the points not set properly, but also check the conditon of the wires ----Jeff
