I recently bought a 1951 IHC refridgerator for $35 which looks and works great. Does any one know anything about these fridges? When was IHC in the appliance business? It's kind of interesting, it has a sticker on the inside that says " It's Femineered"
Thanks for any insight.

IH got into the business gradually as a result of being in the dairy equipment business. Refrigeration equipment started in the 1930s, although not the home refrigeration. IH got out of the business in 1955 or 1956. "Femineering" referred to the color coordination.
