I have a Farmall 300 and International 340 INDUSTRIAL any information on how much horsepower these tractors have.

I know that the 300 has a C169 engine.
Anyone know what engine the 340 INDUSTRIAL has?

Farmall 300 with C-169 engine & 6.8:1 compression,
Nebraska test # 538, April/May 1955:

- Maximum PTO, 38.16 HP @ 1750 RPM
- Maximum drawbar, 33.73 HP @ 1750 RPM

Tracked version of 340 with C-135 engine & 7.38:1 compression,
NTT # 725, October 1959:

- Max PTO, 36.49 HP @ 2000 RPM
- Max drawbar 28.33 HP @ 2000 RPM

Notice the difference in engine speed, makes a big difference in HP.

HP is about the same between them -- never driven a 340, it has a C135, which is basically a C123 with a slightly larger bore and longer stroke.
