Was looking over E-Bay and came across this.

Item #3840600783 "Farmall H & M Grill Clean Out" Buy Now $45.00

Sure hope this guy doesn't have a case of these to get rid of. At this price it will take a long long time. Maybe the new name will make them sell for this higher price.

What a HOOOOO OOOT

Asking price is $14 more than OEM Tractor Parts. Some sucker will probably pay $60. Looks like a typical Ebay item to me. I don't care what he calls it. Thus far I have not had the misfortune of have to use Ebay as my parts source, hope I never do. There was an OEM Tractor Parts catalog on a while ago for $25. They are free for the asking.

I sure don't want to start an arguement here, but I have bought a dozen or more IHC items off of ebay. Most of the stuff I get needs to be cleaned up and painted so it doesn't bring top dollar. The last item I bought was an engine overhaul gasket set for my 47 B.It is good quality and was $20.00 cheaper than NAPA and $40.00 cheaper than my CaseIH dealer, delivered to my doorstep.Ebay isn't a bad place to get parts if you set a limit of what you will pay and know what shipping and handling charges are. John.

If I ever use Ebay it will be for hard to find parts that are simply not available anywhere else. Not saying the sellers aren't honest, but for critical parts such as used chassis parts, etc I would rather use a supplier such as Steel Wheel Ranch. Have also had good luck with Bates Corp. For gaskets, I will use Case-IH, and pay the price, that's the only way I can be sure they are right, unless I can find a seller on Ebay with a good track record -- I suppose they do exist.
