Daggone it!

I can't stop now. Been having trouble findin' a port block for my H and I can't find anyone out here in this wilderness to build me one. So, I just spent the last hour tryin' to figure a way how to do it myself.

But the way this thing has got to lay in there, it is gonna be a trick and I just don't have the necessary machine tools to punch those holes and then run them laterly the way they need to be to clear every thing around the pump.

So, I got on the phone and finally found one at a salvage yard. They're shipping it tonight. I'm sure the rascal must be made of gold 'cause the silly thing cost me $75!

But, I'm not gonna let a goofy little 3" chunk of steel with a couple of threaded ports stop me from completing this project! Darnit! :>)

And so the world of old tractors goes. Now, can anybody load me $75? I'll pay ya back when my brother straightens up. (He's a hunch-back) :>)

Oh, you guys give me a hard time!

Nope, don't believe in mortgages. :>(

Hey! I know what I'll do. There is an old jar of quarters down in the basement; trouble is it is a pint jar..... .....what to do? What to do!

Maybe I’ll just talk to my wife, there is a far removed outside chance that she might take an interest in me. :>)

Later,

Allan

Hey Little jon, I think your brothers fibbing to you if he robbed a gas station at todays prices we could all stop at Allen's and fly him and his tractor to the Bahamas and we could all set on the beach and drink those fancy drinks with those dark haired beauties serving them while we stare at Allen's H with the loader on it. OK you guys stare at the tractor. LOL Don.

John,

I just talked to him.

He stopped by for just a minute, said he was heading out of town for an extended stay and seemed to be in an awful hurry. :>)

I know,

I'm really ashamed of myself, but I gotta get this thing going. In this country, you can set your watch to a snow on the 30th. And I 'taint scoopin'!!!

Oh yeah, I'm really just 13. These wrinkles are from grief caused by all this old iron.

Allan;

That was my policy also. NO SCOOPIN. I would move all the snow I could with blade or loader and all I had to clean by hand was the front steps and some sidewalk. Now I dont even have to do that.

Allen, here's a suggestion sell a couple of those rare Farmalls and move to Arizona or Fla. down near Shep during the winter months and move back when Neb. has summer in June maybe (like Ohio) but I know you're like me let's play in the snow at least till the wife retires so we can get her to work. Then she'll be ready to move too. :-).
