Well armed with all of your advice I went and had a look at the 300, a little rougher than the photo, but all there and in decent shape, needs four tires and some work on the hitch lever arm etc. All new electrics including starter, coil, 12v alternator and solonoid, but should keep me busy for the winter.

I look forward to more advice as I go!

By the way, the kid couldn't get her started so I offered $1500 and got her.

Thanks

I have a 300, with all goodies except powersteering. Went through a lot of work. Trying to sell for $5000 with 3 implements, and a year warranty. no bites yet. Cannot let it go for less, have way too much time and $$$ to sell for less. When they are returned to 100% they are beefy great tractors. Zippy too in 5th.

Price might be a little much. I bought a 300 several years back for $1800. It had an after market 3ph and an 8ft. back blade. I ended up pulling engine, clutch and TA for a professional overhaul.
Big bucks. Still needed hydraulic and brake work. Otherwise it was a decent tractor for what I used it for.

I has the three point adaptor and remotes, by the way its $1500 canadian which translates to just around $1200 US. It turned over well and sounded tight, was just too cold to spin it the engine fast enough.
