Who out there has the tractors under 100 HP parts catalog CD from the dealer? I would like to see it before I buy one for $75. Wondering how easy it is to use and if there is a cheaper source of it than from my dealer for $75.

Thanks!!

I have one I got about 3 or 4 years ago. Recall that I paid around $90 for it. It is essentially the parts catalogs for all those tractors on a CD. It's been well worth if for me. I would like to be able to search for part numbers over all the tractors, but you can't do that. You have to select a tractor first and then you can search for a part number or search by part name. I have several old original parts catalogs and for the most part, the CD is just copies of those, with some of the part numbers updated. The CD I have does not have the W, O and I letter series "Standard" tractors on it.

I have a copy, but it is an older one that I got for a lot less than $75.00 - mine did not cost me anything.

Course, I am interested in Cubs so there is not much new to look for so an older CD is okay.

However, there is tons of information on those cd's and well worth the money. Of course, you can always ask your Dealer for his older copy. I think they get a new set every year. The old set is no longer required.

No harm in asking, offer him 20 bucks for the old cd. He would be up 20 considering a superceded cd is basically worthless. Worth about as much as an AOL cd.....

The dealers are suppose to destroy their copy.
They are not for sale.

Rudi, you lost me (not hard to do). Are you saying the dealers computerized system uses the same CD we can order, or does your dealer have an older system of some sort? Also, it doesn't have the current pricing like the dealers system does it? My dealers computer program tells whether CIH still has the part, if it is in stock, whether or not the nearest dist center has it, and where it's coming from if it comes from some other dist center or dealer. It also converts to a newer part number if it has changed. I thought the CDs were just a substitute for the old parts manuals, I don't have one but I am going to get one sometime, but there's a lot of things to spend $75 for. Hopefully it will tell me if the part is still available before I go to the dealer and get the old "not a valid number" message.
