My Super A spirts coolant when going down a slope of about 20 degrees but seems fine otherwise.
Any ideas? I would like to read a description of the thermo - siphon system.

Bruce, Here it is right outa the Blue ribbon service manual. " Cooling water is circulated through the engine block, cylinder head and radiator by thermosiphon method. As the engine warms up the water is heated, expands and circulates down through the radiator where the water is colled before again circulating through the engine".

You may have your radiator too full if it spurts and I take it the spurting is coming from the overflow tube. I keep mine about 1/2" over the core and eliminated the spurting problem.
