Anyone notice the front wheel weight prices latley

I don't know how many of you have been watching A-450 front wheel weight prices lately. I have wanted to get them for all my tractors. They have been selling for $160 and there is a set on eBay right now for $200 and they still has 4 1/2 days left on it. What gives?? I guess all the $40 sets are long gone. I am glad I got my 6 sets. Maybe someone needs to start reproducing these on a mass basis.

I just say a set go on ebay that was local to me so I wouldn't have to pay for shipping. Brown and no paint on them at all. Starting bid was $35 and I thought that would be worth it to have them. Well they are up to $57 already. :-/

I don't understand the difference in the price on these. The $200 pair looks pretty much the same as a pair for a C that are still at $46. I guess the snipers haven't got to that one yet as there still are a few days left on them.

I inquired with the guy selling the front weights that is local to me and he has some rear weights as well. What are the pros and cons of rear weights?

There is reproduction of front wheel weights, I believe STEIGER"S in Michigan reproduce them or have someone cast them. They are around $75 for a set....Mike in Exeter Ontario

Have you priced steel lately? with the asians buying all the North American steel they can get, steel prices have skyrocketed. I'm sure that there are a lot of good tractors and parts getting remelted as we speak to go to china.

You saw all my Farmalls. I just like the way they look. I want them on all my trators. I almost have enough to put on all of them. Plus I want to get an extra few for the future tractors I know I will have some day.

I paid $20.00 a set for 4 sets and a little more for the 5th set. Deals are still out there.

Ebay is an auction, as with most auctions, sometimes you get a good deal, sometimes not. Apparantly there are at least 2 people that want them.
