Hmmm,

I'm wondering if Colorado has some really bad dirt or something.

Bearing on the right only ran 30 seasons before failure and everyone knows that IH stuff just keeps on a tickin'. Right? :>)

Hey Allan, you can't fool us, anyone can tell that bearing is for the cooling fan on a Chevy Corvair engine.

Hmm,

You might have hit right square on the original problem.

I think I busted the end off that bearing while I was splitting the dust covers 'cause the other half is still kinda welded to one of the covers.

Didn't wanna fess up to it; easier to blame it on somethin' else. :>(

No Sir!

That I cannot condone. I simply will not put up with a dirty work area, nor will I tolerate it to any degree.

I have to know at all times where everything is; it must be at my fingertips. :>)

At least you know where your carpenter tools are. Up top, above anything mechanical. Good job. You never know when you'll need a hammer to throw at a vagrant squirrel or something. Harley

 3 things . . . in reply to Allan in NE, 04-05-2005 16:06:47
3 things every carpender should know:

1. Bore a hole a look thru it.

2. Make a mark and saw to it.

3. Tell a lie and stick to it.
