For the price of 1 goofy hydraulic hose and with an empty bin and drum, this old planter is pushing the max at 11 oz of air pressure. Didn't even touch the air-flow control knob.

Actually, they really aren't all that heavy; they just look that way; 'bout the same as a plow, I'd guess.

My neighbor used to have a 12 row hanger. That thing looked like an airplane and was really just two of these 6-row units glued together on the same toolbar and having two seed hoppers, drums and blower drives.

On the end of the field, he used to "back around" and over to the next run 'cause there usually wasn't enough room to swing that big dude around. He pulled it lengthwise down the road, tho.

I had a 4 row 3ph junk Deere lister I would hang on my 706. When boxes were filled the front end got kinda light. Made a good excuse if rows were crooked. And I had about 600#"s hanging on the front. Any how Allan,have fun with it and be careful.

Naw, don't even know it's back there other than that screamin' sound.

I had saddle mounted liquid tanks on the tractor of my old setup; that kept the nose down where it belonged. :>)

I didnt use liquid fertalozer so no tanks. Had dry fertalizer boxes on the lister. You planting 30 or 36" rows. What will be your seed spacing or plant population/acre. I planted dryland at 9" seed spacing and 36" rows. No,you dont know they are behind there. I planted in low 4 at about 4.5mph.

6 X 30" rows at 33,000 plants would be what? 'bout 6 1/2" I 'spose.
