Has anyone seen or had experience with white or clear gasoline? At RPRU this year a fellow displaying several tractors had this fuel in the tanks and in the sediment bowl was completely clear. I asked him about it and he talked like it was an every day thing that Amoco provides. I have not heard of this in Illinois. I would like to find out more about it.

Amoco used to advertise their gas as being clear. I think lead-free, too, before that menace was taken out of all gasoline. But memory fails on that part.
Now that BP has taken over Amoco their stations around here still call their gas "Amoco fuels" or some such, and far as I know they are still clear.

I get a kick out of BP's commercials, the ones talking about beating the EPAs deadlines. Anyways, they always conclude it with the tagline "BP beyond petroleum" - I know that is what they would like you to think BP stands for. It really stands for British Petroleum. Oh well, I suppose it's better than FP, French Petroleum.

I guess what I need to do is take a few quart size jars there and put some in them. That will tell the truth.

I just thought it looked cool seeing a clear fuel bowl vs. the brown tint to what I usually burn. It has to be better burning as well.
