Due to circumstances beyond my control, I need to sell my two Farmalls. 1947 A model, and a 1953 Super A. Both run fine. Super A is all rigged for snowplowing, has a sickle bar, tire chains, and cultivator blade. Both have live PTO's. I have plowed a 400ft driveway the past 2 winters in VT with the Super A, and mowed about 4 acres of field in the summer. Both tractors were kept under cover or in the barn. I got my third kid going to college next year if that gives any indication of why I am selling. I am located near St. Johnsbury, VT. Phone evenings 802-748-2357. Serious inquiries only. Thanks

Double income here, no kids..... .....
Seems were missing all the fun and expense of kids. Sounds like 2 nice tractors that you have for sale, if you were closer, I would consider one of them.

Want a fantastic college education at a great location for no money? Check out College of the Ozarks where the kids work for their room and board and tuition. I have two who have graduated from there ( jobs waiting for them) and my last is a junior. The only bills I had where for books and they graduated debt free. But is very selective, not so much about grades as the desire and ability to work. I only mention it now because I've no more kids to send.

Another option is to send them to a Community College for several years. Our daughter graduated from our local Community colllege in nursing. She later received her BS in nursing
after she had worked for awhile and then her MS
in nursing. She also received a master's in public health from Johns Hopkins, but she took out
a low interest loan for 10 years. I think that's a great idea to work for your room and board and tuition like your two children did. Hal

You can advertise them on BESTFARMBUYS.COM for free. You should get a lot of exposure on there.

You can also put one in the FoothillsTractorClub for free too. Hal

You may consider using the proper channels for posting these tractors for sale on this site. This site has a classified section where you can post your ad for free, and from personal experience, it's very effective if your asking prices are at all reasonable. I know the photo ads ended up costing me almost $2700 when I wasn't planning on spending that kind of money...

Mornin Bill, Sorry to hear that you need to sell some tractors. But my wife and I just sent our two boys through college and are still digging out, expensive trip! If you can keep that Super A, you will be happy down the road! Good Luck!
