During the process of my first restoration, I frequently looked at EBay to find some replacement parts. I get a kick out of the way some of the sellers describe their items. Just a couple I noticed this morning.

"All of the gears work...except for 5th gear"

"The original Farmall wide front end has no cracks or weld repairs except one weld on a linkage rod."

"Not tested but it should be a good one."

"Carburator for Farmall H or M"

A few others are.
"Easy fix"
"Remember this is 50 years old"
"These are getting hard to find"

Sellers can be a pain too, Dave! I just sold my first item on ebay after years of buying. Woman sent me an email wanting to pick the item up at a mall that was halfway between us. I told her the item said "pick up only". Her response, quite correctly, was that it did not say WHERE she had to pick it up! I had to laugh.....but made her pick it up here.

Yes dave they do that all the time it gets me when they say an H4 mag came off a cub or will fit a cub. The thing that gets me is when they hide info like here is a nice mag for an H,M and such but when you get it you find out it came from a diesle and has the CCW rotation but it just came off a running H you know. lol Or like the one here the other day that had a H carb that would bolt right up to an H or M. All In All you cant beat some of the deals though. JON

It is worse than you think. Last year someone listed a tractor with a picture of my F400 I had previously uploaded to YT.
