What is the lowest serial number cub anyone knows about. I know 501 is still around, but what do most people have. I found serial number 1024 yesterday and want to buy it but it is totally gone. It was the 523rd cub built. It has the circle cub decals and the casting dates are May 21st 1947.

I mean gone, engine stuck, block broke and welded. I grabbed the shifter and it broke off. Flat tires, Sheetmetal rusted bad, would have to have new. Original decals are gone. Muffler rusted off it, I am sure the engine and trans must be full of water. He asked me $700 for it but I would probably give $250. just for the castings because they are so low. He said he had the engine bored, so if it was rusted up it might not be fixable because max overbore might not clean it up. I just believe it"s a parts tractor if you need some low date coded parts.

Well I bought it. Got it for what it was worth. It had a belly mower and he was high in the mower, so I asked him what he would take without the mower, and well I own a cub. I was going to sell the mower anyway, it was junk. Still looking for a demo cub project. Thanks Brandon.
