I am getting ready to change the TA in a Farmall 350 and I need all the help I can get. The IT manual I have is a little vauge when it comes to the transmission and TA. Any pictures and pointers will be helpfull. Thanks in advance.

If my web site is working. Just click on the Farmall 400 link. I took step by step photos of the clutch,TA and Tranny job I did on her.
The clutch link will show spliting the tractor and the TA part will show spliting the clutch housing from the trans case. 350 would be the same as a 400.

Not that big of a deal to change.but when going back together becareful on the ft. seal as not to cut or roll it this happens alot and ya get a leak into the T/A clutch area.

Kelley's site is a life saver.

I made a sleeve out of thin aluminum, worked off the rough edges, bent it to shape and slipped it over the shaft as I threaded it into the seal. I remember the IH manual said to use a seal protector of some sort, so I improvised.

I have the seal protector and the special spanner socket for the T/A clutch as i have bought out a couple old I H dealers special shop tools If your going to specialize in one brand of tractor repair then ya got to have all the toys to do the job correct the first time .
