I called the guy that I gave a deposit to for my Farmall A, to ask him a couple of questions about the magnito, and he said " I've got some bad news. My wife filed a restraining order stoping me from selling the tractor. I can give you your deposit back, or,we have a hearing in a month, if you want to see if we can come to some kind of aggrement, that will allow us to complete our deal. I still want to sell it to you." I told him to hang on to the deposit, and see what happens. Stay tuned...I was gonna go pick it up this weekend too.....

None of my busness but why does he hold the deposit money? If hes honest he will hold it[the tractor] for you and you hold the deposit.Something isnt right here a Farmall A cant be a major part of a divorce settlement.

Hope he didn't put the check in the bank, you might find she's frozen the account too.

It happens. I've bought two women I ended not even liking houses that way. Finally decided if it flies, floats or..... lease it, don't buy it.That way ifn it crashes, sinks, or runs off with the milk man, you don't care. :-) Harley

Yeah , I know what you mean Harley; I traded a 67 Mustang for a girl one time then she split and I didn't have nothing.

Moral of the story is to find a woman you hate and buy her a house.

Actually, the best bet is to own your house before you get married. At least in Nebraska, the only thing that gets split up is property acquired during the marriage....

Don't ask me how I know- but I'm soon to have more dollars and time to spend on my tractors again....a "keeper" isn't always what they appear to be...
