i have a farmall h with a 6 volt system. Starter turns over, but I"m getting no fire at the points. Have installed new coil, points and condenser, but still get no fire at the points. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Brian, Start with the basics, do you have 6 volt current with the switch on coiming out of the coil side of the switch? Do you have 6 volt current at the coil from the switch wire? If not your problem is in those areas. If you have current at the coil then your problem is between the coil and plugs where Wild Bill has pointed you.
My Super C had the power wire to the coil broken and the previous owner didn"t have a clue why it wouldn"t start. Good luck and hope this helps. Hal

If it is a magneto (or distributer too really ), check to see if the wire from the condensor to the points is grounded out anywhere. Have you tried cleaning the points? New ones have to be cleaned sometimes.

Wild Bill
Use a test light (or a 6v bulb with a wire taped to the brass) to check for voltage at the coil terms. From sw should be ~6v on other side should be nothing with points closed, and a dim bulb if points are open.
