I bought 2 five gal pails of I-H lights and two tail lights have the little light on top with a red glass lense. Silver button on side to go from clear to red. What tractor did they come out on? One has the sliver button missing. Where can I find one? Also have three round lights with all round rubber hold downs to mount the 6 volt sealed beam lense. I sure do enjoy this web site.

Not sure when they started with the lights, I have a 1950 M that has one on, it might be original since my dad bought the tractor new.

I have not seen this name for years, I assume you are the Bernard from Westgate IA, if it is I was your telephone repairman in the 60's. Are you restoring tractors these days? I always remember you having nice looking IH equipment.
My quess would be that those lights came off anything from a SMTA or newer through 4-560 (rear lights) and OEM will get you knobs.
Let me know what you are working on.

Yea I am the Bernard from Westgate, No one else would admit that. I am now working on a Super-M 1953. Should have it done by middle of Jan. Trying to restore it as it was when it was new. Done a 1939 H and found a orginal seat for it and shutters. Also found a 240 farmall all orginal with 1,o36 hours on it but was repainted. Bad paint so I repainted it. Have two Super MTA's that I farm with. One I bought used in 1970 and other 10 years ago. Never put a TA in them and they work great. Change the HI THRAN in rear end every two years. Also a 300 farmall I fell in love with. Side mount pitman less sickle mounted mower. Had many diferant hobbys in my life and master of nothing.

You say youv'e had several hobbies, as I recall didn't you even have some clasic cars and also involved in model airplanes?
Sounds like you have a nice collection of tractors, I have been restoring some for about 20 years since moving to Slater. Had a 730 Dsl Std, 830 Electric, 350 Deisel Farmall with wide front, and all the options except the draft indicator. Got that one on the cover of Red Power. My last project was a JD 525 Std, a 520 with 60Std front end, fenders, and platform and a 530 steering neck. Just sold it out at Polks on Labor Day. Do you still live in the country?

Never smoked a cigeret but my hobbys cost me a lot more than smokeing. Only old auto We own is a 1978 Trans Am. Hope you and every one else have a Merry Christmas.
