was there ever a mounted single row picker for a F-12. I have found a reciept for a picker from Jan 1939 for $157. I cant remember if grandpa had it mounted or not.

alfred The first popular mounted IH pickers were produced in 1931, (models no.10 one row and no.20 two row)till 1936. In 1937 a one row (no. 11)and the two row(no. 22)for only one year. In 1938 no. 22-b was built two row. In 1939 the 2-M was built two row.
If it was a one row mounted bought in 39 it was most likely used or a hold over.

What C.H.Wendel book says anyway.
