Send an email to jbuzzetta@ckpower.com to see if they have a wiring diagram. Hal

If this engine has battery ignition with electric start your ignition switch should feed voltage to the coil and distributor. The switch is either fed voltage from the starter solenoid or from the battery. Your generator should be wired to a
regulator to control the charging rate. All the generator and regulator does is keep the battery charged.

If this engine has a magneto it doesn't need any voltage because they create their own voltage with the magnets passing past the coil. I would check with Binder Books for a manual that covers the wiring for the VF4. Call 1-800-922-5632 to see if they have a wiring diagram and will fax you a copy or mail it. Hal

I'm not familiar with the wisconsin, but i'm sure you can get a shop manual for it.
