Does any one know if a M radiator is interchangeable to my W6, if not does anyone have the OEM part number. This is the last piece to my puzzle and I need a radiator. Please email me abale@rochester.rr.com Thank you very much Andy

Yes you can put an M radiator in a W6 but you can NOT put a W6 radiator in an M. The only difference is the hole in the top tank for the M steering shaft on the M radiators which is not present in the W6 radiators.

GOOD LUCK

John, I have a 1941 I-4 that does not have the hole for the steering shaft. Or, I should say the original radiator does not have the hole. When this tractor gets put back together it will have an H radiator in it.

Interesting! My 45 I-4 has the hole, and the I-6 im slowly taking apart has the hole.Maybe that explains why I have some work to do on the grills on both.but,I really have never seen one on a -4, or -6 that didnt have a hole like the Hs and Ms,so I just assumed all of them were like that.

Hmm...seems to me IH might have messed up, could have saved some money on tooling and put holes in all of them if they interchange.
