Okay, I pulled the tractor apart again today and measured the distance from the step to the face on the clutch and it is only 1.360 not the required 1.406. Before I had the flywheel turned all the adjustments were already maxed out. I think that I had better get a different flywheel. Thanks to all who have given me advice through all of this. I hope replacing the flywheel helps. I have posted on this topic twice before for those wondering what I am talking about.

Well that tell me that they did not know what they were doing and so now you will have to try and find a good flywheel that has not been ground down to the max and when ya have it refaced use the massurements i gave ya . if they are ground down to much then the plate get to far away from the throw out bearing and ya run out of adjustment. and any ideas of adding lenght to the rod is not the answer as there is only somuch movment for the throwout bearing to move .
