Sure I built it, took me about one hour on a rainy afternoon when I couldn't get out to the shop.

Never met a dog or a tractor I didn't marvel. Many men have dissapointed me however.

Amen to that statement!

Thats a lot of concrete for a farm. Looks more like an old airport.

Allan, that "hard field" that tractor is parked on looks a lot like a friend of ours up in central Iowa. He likes to get high if you know what I mean. Harley

That 966 was a "tough" one.

I wanted that tractor so darned bad I could taste it, but just didn't have the funds that week. Thing of it was, it was his father's and of course he didn't want to sell it either.

In the end, he sacrificed it elsewhere to help another man in need. They don't walk much taller than Bill Owen in my eyes.

Heck,

I thought you were Rusty.

Maybe I've just got a weird sense of humor or something, but I just find this "what a tractor looks like" thing just plumb silly.

Yep, I know. I could feel your pain from 700 miles away and if I'd have been able to at that particular time, I would have "held it for you".

I know you could and would. I appreciate that an awful lot.

A lot of good came from it though.

I'm looking forward to seeing dirt turned on that new spread of yours. Besure to take time to send a pic or two. I sure envy you there.... I think I'd want a cab though. I remeber turning dirt with snowflakes in the air and no cab. I'm not that nostalgic!.....yet.

Gotta meet Rusty some day.
