Isn't a fast hitch on a 300-560 supposed to have a swinging drawbar also? Or was it an option or something? If so where did they all go?

I think that they were an option. I have one on my Farmall 340. I actually have a couple for this tractor.

I have a 300 and a 400 both with the swinging drawbar. It anchors with a pin to the front of the fast hitch yoke. It anchors to the slide in drawbar which supports the vertical load. They are heavy and a bit cumbersome to mount. They sure make you fell better when towing a heavy load. Puts the puling force up under the tractor. those are the only two ive seen

Yes they made them for those fast hitches. The swinging drawbar used on 300 ,400 that used two hydraulic cylinders on fast hitch was different than ones used on 350,450,560 fast hitch. Don't see them to often but theres some around.

DOn't think so as the main pull point on the fast hitch is the place where the swinging drawbar attaches to with no fast hitch. That was one of the problems, stress on the fast hitch bushings, etc when pulling trailing implements.

I retract the above statement. There is a place for a pin the front part of the yoke as Dave and JMM said above. In my parts book it does exclude the 460 Hi Utility I have. Apparantly the dimensions are different. There are also stabilizers that bolt to the fast hitch to minimize side sway when using the drawbar. Thus the wear I mentioned should be less if those are used.

I can't speak for the 300-350 but the Super C with fast hitch had an optional swinging drawbar.

Think there is a swinging drawbar option for my 200... there is a place to attach on the front of the wisbone. Was probably optional, or lost on most tractors.

Might be mistaken, but I don't think they started the swinging drawbar option with the two point until the 656.
