Been looking in Virginia for a leveling/grading blade (#60 I think) for my Super A with no luck. Saw a cub with a snow blade advertised. anyone ever modified or built one out of the cub blade? Much difference? Or anyone know of one for sale around here.

Thanks.

I've built up several from a 3-point grader blade. On one I used a cultivator frame assembly to keep the blade level when pivoted, but it was only a marginal improvement over one that pivots from the mounting brackets. This is really quite easy, works well, and doesn't look cobbled up. If you weld, mail me and I'll walk you through it.

You could probably make enough brackets to mount the blade portion of the Cub blade under the belly of a Super A. The front mounting frame would probably be hopeless. When you got done, you would have a Cub sized blade anyway.

I know where there is a homemade one that might be for sale in WV. As I recall, it is set up for front mount only. Email me if interested.
