I am going to pull a 1086 in our local heavy weight class pull. Percentage wise where is most of the weight---in the front or rear? Does anyone have an idea on how to weight it properly. Besides the tug pull being a percentage pull, they are also giving out a last man standing trophy. This class is 10,000 to 15,000. How much does a 1086 weigh and what would be the better route, to weight it up to or pull it light?

Years ago I pulled my 1086 several times.

They are very well balanced tractor.

Tell me how yours is set up and I can tell your weight and give a few pointers.

Keeping the drawbar as short and as high as allowed is a start.

Good tires are important also.

What are some of the rules?

Gary
