Thanks to all who has comment and researched for me on this plow. With a big thanks going to Lee Grady of the Wisconsin Stste Historical Society. He finally got this plow identified. It is a IHC McCormick-Deering P&O 12 Tractor Disk Plow. It was built between 1925 & 1927. This is the only one known to exsist, so if you know of another please let me know. He said it most commonly came in 4 and 5 bottoms. That is why most has never saw a 6 and why they are rare and most people did not have the kind of equipment to pull it back in the day. Anyways the mystery is solved and now it's on to painting it up. Thanks to everyone. Bill {Antique Acres}

Thanks for the acknowledgement! However, most of the credit for solving this one goes to my colleague Guy Fay. He's the one who dug through our catalogs to get the answer . . .

If you had one in 1925, what would you have used to pull it?

The catalogs suggested a 15-30, but there were still plenty of the big old gas and steam tractors around that needed implements.

I did the research on this one- the model was built between 1925-1931, but one of the parts numbers you gave us was used only until 1927. A slightly different version was built in Canada after 1929 up until the mid-1930s- the production number we had on the Canadian plows was just over 4,000, which is pretty low for that era.

In that case Guy I tip my hat to you also. I appreciate you all doing all the hard work looking these numbers up for me and getting a answer. Do you have any idea what this thing could be worth? I know that is a million dollar question, but???? Thanks. Bill {Antique Acres}

Nope. Never saw one of these before either. It would be cool behind my Super W-6, but a bit of an anachronism.

Good Word! This country boy just broke out Webster's to get that definition. To all that don't know it means: An error in respect to dates or the order of historical events. Or maybe I am the only one, but anyways. Thanks Guy. Bill {Antique Acres}
