Mister Allen, I have been watching the front end change on your tractor and I was wondering how much I can expect to pay for a wide front for my 706D.It has a wide front now but it has been welded all over and is subject to fold up at anytime. All help would be greatly appreicated.

Big un, Call Abilene Machine, They have complete frontends ready to go. 3 or 4 yrs ago the price for one was in the 1K neighborhood. Just put on your wheels, and off you go. Alilene, Ks.... 800-255-0337

Hi Big Un ,

I looked high and low for the one I finally found within a hundred miles. Had to give $500 for it and it needed rebuilt big time.

You'll pay between $850 and $1K out of a salvage yard, if (and that's a big if) they have one.

I'd sure give ya this one, except Gary over in Iowa has already spoke for it. Think he is gonna put it back on a 560 where it belongs.

Allan, I sure am glad you got the frontend under that thing. Look at that jack! I hate to correct my elders, but that is just plain dangerous. Look how it's leaning back. I sure wish I lived closer to you, I'd come out and help you carry shoring and stuff. You GOT to be more careful. The rest of us NEED You on here to help us maintain our sanity. Best of luck, Harley

I agre with the safety issue but I disagree with the jack leaning back. Unless Allen"s barn is also leaning to the right, I think the camera was tilted or the image was cropped a bit odd. I think the jack is straight although I got dizzy tilting my head and looking at the monitor to make sure :-)
