Greetings! I recently came across a center section from a 560 Farmall that has been cut away to show the internal workings of a Torque Amplifier. I was told it was factory made for display in a dealership back in the 1960's by a guy. I wanted more proof and wondered if anybody else has ever seen one. Several of the internal pieces are chromed. Other pieces are different colors to help show all the parts. Dad and I collect farmalls (last count 134) and wondered about this piece. I do know that it originated in a International dealership in Murphysboro, Illinois, but the dealership sold out back in the late 70's. Any comments are greatly welcomed!!

Brian

Where are you located?

I know a Brian Greer but didn't know he collected IH tractors.

Must be another Brian Greer.

Gary

I live in Cobden, IL (pop. 1100) which is about 20 miles northwest of Cape Girado, MO. Another reference point is 90 miles south east of St. Louis, MO.

Hello Randy! I have seen your name a lot in Harry's papers. Harry used to preach that he did not want an auction or anybody going through his stuff when he died. Neither one of his kids were interested in his stuff but they wanted it to stay in a collection. With the help of my parents, we bought his estate and transported it mostly to the family farm in Pinckneyville and a little to my house when my wife is not looking :) I worked with Harry on and off for the past 12 years. My stepson and I have been pulling his 39 H, 40 H, and his 53 SH to help keep his tractors going. We are usually always in the top 5 in the class. I have to be at an appointment in 15 minutes up town, but can respond more later.
