Thanks again guys, I'll pass on this info to my Son, I will try to post a picture later this week. I really want to show you this tractor, its been sitting awhile and really dusty but has been in the shed out of the weather. Nice job restoring yours Dave, Sweet!

Hi Bob,
If it is like the one shown by Dave, and it is completely restored I would pay $3500. It just depends on how much you want it. Trying to find a price for you from the Used Tractor Price Guide, but it only goes back to 1939 and just list the letter series. The closest is a 1939 M book price premium condition _____ ____ $1910.00 I do not believe this means it has been restored, just complete no dents or breaks, good rubber, steering wheel, etc. If you look at a tractor that has been completely restored it is going to be in much better condition than when new. Hello BOBCD,

Here is a picture of a '36 Narrow that I sold during the Half Century of Progress Show here in Vermilion County Illinois in the fall of 2003.

The tractor had road gear in the transmission, electric start, foot brakes. Someone had added a light bar and a generator. I put the new tires on it and older rims. It also had a Pto extension.

I didn't have the tractor very long. Fussed with it to make it run (tune up & fuel system) When I sold it, it ran and started well. Even with the 28" rear tires that little tractor would really move fast! :-)

I sold it to a collector in southern Illinois for $3500. The fellow that picked it up said that his boss had a barn full of restored tractors of all colors. Said that he would probably be taking this one to a shop so it would be totally restored!

A fully restored tractor will never sell for as much as it cost to restore it. I would offer the seller $1,000 to start, go higher if you really want it. A narrow tread is not as common as the standard width F-20, so it might be worth more. A tractor is not worth anything until actual money has changed hands, and then that money is what the tractor is worth.
