Got a line on a 300U for sale. What is one worth? She's pretty rough. Has Fast hitch, torque is out, sheet metal is nothing to brag about. It has a junk twisted up pipe frame loader on it. Needs a radiator. I don't think the seller has any idea of the value, selling on best offer. We're talking bottom of the 300U value spectrum here, gentlemen. I know their low production #'s make them somewhat valuable, but how much?

I agree with CNKS. Needs radiator ($$), and torque amplifier is out ($$$$$$). Your description of the loader suggests abuse. Even without abuse, the troublesome (dare I say frail and feeble?) steering gears on the 300U are always cause for concern.

I'd say $500 is right in the ballpark. Maybe $700 if the steering is fully functional and slop-free.

30000+ is not a low production number. The fact that it is utility may make it worth more than a row crop, but the condition you describe all but cancels that out. For me, since I would like to have one to fix up, I might me willing to pay $1000, it would cost me $4000 plus to do my amature restoration. For someone who actually wants to fix it enough to use it and has no interest in what it looks like, maybe $500 -- because it needs a LOT of work.

My typing has gone south for the winter possibly never to return, along with the eye connection to brain and fingers--please excuse errors.
