I am thinking of doing another engine swap. Do any of the V8 IH gas motors bolt straight into any IH tractors without major modifications? I think I saw in a magazine that done before. Disregarding worrying about the rear end how many button clutch should I use for no slippage.

What model are you putting it in?

There was a 392 V8 gas that was used in combines.

That may be one of the easiest ones to use.

But I don't know if it will bolt right in?

It had like 150 HP

Right now Im not too concerned yet about which model of tractor I will be using. I just want to know the possibilities. Out of curiousity let's say a M Farmall.
