I have a fast hitch 7' sickle bar mower. The sickle is pitman driven and it broke, flinging the spring on the sickle end somewhere into the hay field. Do any of you know the dimensions of the spring, and are there any other parts that are supposed to be in the shaft of the pitman arm?

I went and took mine apart, and it is 4 and 1/4 inches long and 5/8 inch in diameter. Coils are an 1/8th of an inch in diameter. These are available new from IH.
