I have been told by 2 different companies that Char Lynn pumps and related equipment are no longer made. (The factory was closed.) Is there any other place making pumps to replace a Char Lynn pump? I don't want to go the Belean route if I can avoid it. Also does anyone know where a Char Lynn pump is for sale?

PUMP or torque generator? in reply to RBTXS, 08-22-2007 18:24:37
Are you looking for a pump/reservoir, or the "torque generator"?

Sorry, when I read Bob's post, I meant to say torque generator, not pump.

The torque generators, for sure are still being made.

Punch link below, and scroll down a ways to see the various torque generators in the current product lineup.

Bob, or anyone else, do you know what item on the Easton site would be used for a Farmall 340 with factory utility wide front? I would need the works well, the tractor does have the live pto - I want to use the tractor with an IH 2001 loader. Thanks in advance. sign me, GREEN AT THIS.

The whole schmear is now handled by Eaton Hydraulics. Replacements are not a problem.

Exactly. You can even get the bracket that mounts the steering motor for an M or an H brand new.

Guys, Look into Parker-Hanifin. They are a big hydraulics manufacturer. For some reason I had it in my mind that they bought out CharLynn. Could be just my imagination, but they supply a heck of a lot of industrial and mobile hydraulic parts to different manufacturers.

Everything except the pump is still available. OEM has parts and Brad Marshall can get parts as well. If your tractor already has live hydraulics it doesn't need the pump. Only a priority flow valve and steering motor. OEM 1-800-283-2122. Brad at 1-888-824-0544. I spoke to Brad just a few days ago and ne can get the valve and motor.

From what I am told, that is correct; they are no longer made. I see them for sale quite often on ebay, however. mike durhan
