My 756 has alot of slack in the shifter from low to high. How do you fix this? When I have it low range it doesn't go down far enough to go into 4th, could this be fixed? Thanks

If the shifting became loose suddenly it is most likely caused by a broken roller under the shift cover. They split in two and fall down into the reservoir. Eventually you will find the pieces when you change the transmission filter.

If the linkage it tight going to the lever on the cover, you will need to remove the shift cover to make the repair.

Yep, can be fixed. Remove the dash cowling, the vertical cover between the clutch and brake pedals, and the platform. Inspect the entire linkage top to bottom, replace any part that is questionable.
